Adrian Frutiger is a Swiss typeface designer who has influenced a lot the direction of modern digital typography. During his career Frutiger has won multiple awards including European Design Hall of Fame, Grand Prix National des Arts Graphiques and others. He is well-known in business for creating the Univers and Frutiger typefaces. The Frutiger typeface family was released in 1976 and designed for the directional system of Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
